Elevator

The main home is equipped with an elevator to allow for handicapped access to all levels.

Operation Procedure

  1. Press the call button. if the elevator car is on another level, the car will move to your called door.
  2. Once arrived or if the car is already stationed at your level, the display will indicate the level has been reached and you will hear the entry door safety lock disengage. If you do not open the door within 10 seconds, it will lock causing you to have to repeat step 1.
  3. Enter the car.
  4. Close the interior car door and the entry door as you exit the elevator. Both doors must be closed for the elevator to operate.

Note: If the car interior door is NOT closed, it will not move when called. This condition is indicated on the call button panels (all levels) via a flashing error code followed by the floor number indicating the level where the car is stopped and waiting for the interior door to be closed. In this situation you will need to go to that floor, open the entry door, and close the inside car door to remove the error and restore operation.

CAUTION

Please note that this equipment is dangerous for very young children (under 42 inches in height) and care should be taken to prevent small children from using the system without adult supervision.

You may disable access by locking the elevator car entry door on each level. If your party has young children and no need for handicapped access to the elevator, please lock these doors by opening each elevator car entry door and locking the handle from the inside facing knob and closing the door.

We will unlock these doors upon your checkout. If you lock these by mistake, please call us for instructions on where to find the key (text of call either of the contact numbers shown above).

If a code is flashing on the call station you may look up the reason in the last few pages of this document:
