The outdoor kitchen includes grilling and heating appliances that require propane. This propane is supplied via a 2000 gallon tank that serves the main home. To ensure this fuel is not lost by accident, we have an automated valve that turns the gas on if motion is detected inside the cooking area. If no motion is detected after 2 hours, the gas supply will automatically shut off.
When the gas is first activated via motion detected inside the space, the overhead lights will illuminate and toggle on and off a couple times. After 10 seconds they will dim and remain on while the gas is on. When no motion is detected for more than 1 hour, the gas is deactivated and lights if on will turn off.
If you want to adjust the lights off or dimming level, the switch is to the left of the grill.
The outdoor kitchen includes a grill, ventilation hood, side burner, drawer storage and sink. You will find grilling utensils in the storage drawers.
Please note the fire extinguisher location next to the grill to be used for any fire emergency at the grill or firepit locations.

The outdoor kitchen includes two overhead radiant heaters. The controls for these heaters are located in side wall of the counter area opposite the grill. To operate, simply turn on the switch and adjust the dial to desired level of radiation for each unit.

There are two refrigerators and two pantry enclosures located under the counter.
The refrigerators are may be off when not in use. If you find the refrigerators are off, simply turn on the power toggle switch located on the inside ceiling of each unit.

There is a Sonos system that powers the overhead speakers located inside the roof area. Simply connect to the home’s wi-fi on your device and then open the Sonos S2 app to control music for the entire property. Once in the app and connected to the system, you will find this speaker group named “outdoor kitchen”.
